The Montagu Case: Archives, Access, and Silenced Histories
Multimedia essay analyzing the 1954 Montagu trial as a case study in archival access, institutional silence, and human rights. Draws on declassified Air Ministry and RAF files obtained through FOI requests to reveal the state coordination behind the prosecution. Applies Gilliland's archival multiverse framework and ICA human rights principles to examine how national archives shape historical knowledge.
